Shipment Protection & Valuation Options
Moorish Express Moving and Delivery offers customers the following shipment protection options. Customers must select one option prior to the move:
Option 1: Standard Valuation (No Charge)

This option is provided at no additional cost.

The customer declines full insurance coverage and/or increased valuation.

Under this option, liability for loss or damage is limited to: $1.00 per pound per article

Example:
If a 50 lb item is damaged, the maximum reimbursement would be $50.00, regardless of the item's actual value.
By selecting this option, the customer acknowledges:

They understand the limited liability coverage

They accept the risk associated with minimal valuation protection
Option 3: Third-Party Insurance

Customers may purchase full-value insurance coverage through a third-party insurance provider.

Moorish Express Moving and Delivery does not provide insurance directly, but can recommend providers if requested.
Under this option:

3. Customer Responsibility
